Vanilla Bean Cake Recipe

I have always been a vanilla girl through and through, so it was extremely important to me that my vanilla bean cake recipe be absolute perfection. I can't count how many iterations my vanilla bean recipe has gone through, but the recipe I'm providing here is in its final form and I have no desire to improve on it as it is everything I want in a vanilla bean cake - soft, fluffy, light, and moist. Vanilla cake can get a bad rap for being too ~vanilla~, but this cake recipe is actually flavorful, slightly salty, and is loved by so many of my customers.
